ShowNET as a Versatile Solution
The ShowNET mainboard provides various control options and capabilities:
- Control via LAN for seamless computer connectivity with an integrated DAC.
- Create, store, and playback custom content in multiple modes.
- Works as an ILDA IN-to-LAN-to-ILDA OUT adapter for signal extension.
- Functions as a DMX IN-to-LAN-to-DMX OUT adapter.
Integration with Showeditor Software
ShowNET is fully compatible with the professional Showeditor software, available for free download at https://www.showeditor.com. Showeditor provides tools for:
- Creating timeline-based laser shows.
- Live laser show control with pre-configured MIDI profiles.
- Exporting and importing ILDA files for interoperability with other software.
- DMX input/output for controlling external lighting fixtures.
- Customizing figures, logos, and text with the intuitive Figure Editor.
- Advanced features like abstract generators and optimization tools for professionals.
Automated Playback for Installations
ShowNET includes a microSD card for storing and playing back ILDA files (*.ild) in standalone mode. Auto-play mode can be activated via dip switches, and preset figures in internal memory can be used for quick playback without additional setup.
DMX-Triggered Laser Shows
Using DMX control, the ShowNET board can play back ILDA files stored on its microSD card and modify settings like intensity, base color, size, and offset in real time, ideal for live productions.
ILDA Streaming and Range Extension
The ShowNET interface enables ILDA signal extension over TCP/IP networks. Transform ILDA signals to digital LAN signals, using standard network switches and CAT cables. This system supports:
- Fiber optic transmission.
- Simultaneous input and output for up to 16 devices.
- Custom addressing for easy configuration.
